Unless your computer is from the Stone Age, you’re probably fine. Ideally, it should have an i5 processor and 4-8GB RAM. That’ll keep your FB Marketplace rental posts, auto dealer listings, and mattress sales flowing without a hiccup. Just make sure the computer always has a strong, stable internet connection.

Both Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist posters are compatible with Windows and Mac OS (but to be honest Windows is the easiest and works the best).

A Chromebook will not work. It must be Windows or Mac OS.

Yes. Just don’t minimize Chrome or try to make it do cartwheels. You can still check emails, browse Zillow for houses you’ll never buy, or prep your next posting campaign in peace as long as the posting browser is active in the background, not minimized.

Yes—this is The Lazy Poster, and while you may be allowed to get Lazy, your computer must remain active.

Keep the display ON at all times. If your computer is reset or does an update be sure to turn the program back on. This is especially important if you are running it on a schedule.

For this reason it may be better to have a dedicated posting computer that can be left somewhere with a constant internet connection.

A surprisingly simple setup: log into the portal, create your listings, choose your schedules, download the software, run your campaigns and boom—your furniture ads, car dealer listings, and discount mattress posts are handled. Oh, and you can post the same listings from up to 4 Facebook and 4 Craigslist accounts all on different schedules! (Support for more accounts can be provided at an additional cost).

That depends! If you’re using an inventory management system, database, or CRM, ask your provider or developer to connect it to our Public REST API, which is available in your portal.

If you have an auto dealership website you can select our Dealership Deluxe package and we will connect it for you to sync on a daily or hourly basis!

Marketplace listings can only be published through a personal profile. Facebook removed the ability for Business Pages to post directly back in early 2023, so this is now the only way in.

The good news? You can still keep things fully professional:

• Stay private: Use the “Hide from friends” option so your listings don’t show up on your personal timeline. Your aunt doesn’t need to see your entire inventory anyway.
• Look like a business: Customize your Marketplace profile with your logo and business info so customers see your brand.

Think of it as using a personal profile as the key… but your business is still the one opening the door.

As long as you don’t post too fast, and adhere to the rules such as what can be posted and what can’t be, you will be fine.

With FB Marketplace, you can post from multiple accounts using the same computer with no issue. However, they may put your account under temporary review for having too many logins in different locations.

Facebook’s biggest reason to ban accounts is posting too fast, so we automatically limit FB posts to 5 minutes in between.

They will also ban you for too many posts that go against their terms. So if you have a post that “goes against their terms” and you know this is a mistake, always request a review so they can approve it. If it is not approved after being reviewed, then remove it from your campaign. Too many of these posts will result in your account being temporarily paused and placed under review.

Sometimes platforms can temporarily ban your account from time to time for any reason, even if you weren’t using the software. If this happens, just message them or request a review and you will usually be reinstated within a few days. Don’t panic.

The Facebook Marketplace Poster and Craigslist Poster are both compatible worldwide as long as your computer and Facebook language settings are updated to US English.
